My first solo exhibit I worked towards creating large scale works to surround the viewer with my emotions. Showcasing sorrow through staining and burning paper, I showcased the dualities of emotion through organic matter leading to synthetic in a nearby room.

This transition to exploring with mylar and cellophane led to future work leading to my Master’s exhibition at the University of Idaho, To Bloom or To Burn?
